Bodegas Saenz de Santamaria is located in Cenicero (La Rioja Alta) in Spain and is within the appellation of Doc Rioja, the first and most famous Designation of Origin in Spain; a quality symbol for decades.
The estate today runs 60 hectares of vineyards featuring mostly Tempranillo (the key to the unique character of Rioja Wine), Graciano and Mazuelo grapes. These grapes are selected by hand at their optimal maturation process and then transformed into wine following the traditional methods combined with the latest enological techniques. One of the most important developments is the dramatically intensified focus on vineyard and thus grape quality.
Thanks to the mentioned quality and well done job, we are obtaining very good results, such as several awards at National and International Wine Contests and above all, our clients' satisfaction.
